Workday Student Project FAQs
General Project Questions
What is Workday Student?
Workday Student is ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ College's new Student Information System (SIS). It will replace PowerCampus/My¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ and provide a modern, integrated platform for managing student, academic, and administrative processes.
Workday Student brings many of those tasks together in one place.
That means less switching between systems, fewer duplicate processes, and an easier way to find the information you need.
What is Workday Student replacing?
Workday Student is replacing PowerCampus/My¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷, but that's only part of the story.
Over the years, we've added other systems and tools to fill gaps around PowerCampus/My¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷. As Workday Student is implemented, many of those tools will be replaced or their functions will move into Workday.
Depending on your role, this may include things like:
- Reporting Services reports
- Ranger Forms
- Academic Plan (formerly DegreeWorks)
The goal is to have fewer systems to learn and navigate, with more work happening in one place.
When will Workday Student go live?
Workday Student will be available in April for Fall 2027 registration. The project team is currently working through configuration, testing, training, and data conversion activities to prepare for implementation.
Student FAQs
How will students use Workday Student?

Faculty FAQs
How will teaching faculty use Workday Student?
Faculty will use Workday Student for many of the tasks they currently complete in PowerCampus/My¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷, including:
- viewing teaching schedules.
- accessing class rosters.
- reviewing course information.
- submitting grades.
- viewing information about students enrolled in their courses.
- supporting registration and advising activities.
I'm a department chair, dean, or have other academic leadership responsibilities. How will I use Workday Student?
In addition to the tasks faculty use every day, people with academic leadership responsibilities may use Workday Student to:
- support course offerings and schedules.
- monitor course enrollment.
- approve or review academic requests and workflows.
- run reports to support planning and decision-making.
- view information needed to support their department or area.
The specific tasks you'll use will depend on your role. Training will focus on the features and responsibilities that apply to you.
Will faculty need to learn a completely new system?
Workday Student will look different from PowerCampus/My¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷, but many of the tasks faculty perform today will remain familiar. Training and support will be available before go-live.
When will faculty receive training?
Training will be offered closer to implementation and will focus on the tasks faculty use most often. View the Project Timeline for an estimated training schedule.
Staff and Leadership FAQs
What will staff and leadership use Workday Student for?
The answer depends on your role, but staff may use Workday Student to:
- view student information.
- support course registration.
- create and manage courses and sections.
- process student records.
- manage holds and approvals.
- review student financial information.

How will my access to information change with Workday Student?
Workday Student is one system, but it isn't one-size-fits-all. What you see and do will depend on your role at the college.
For example, teaching faculty will have access to the information they need to manage their courses and support their students. Faculty or staff who also serve as a dean, chair, director, or in other academic leadership roles may have additional access to support responsibilities like reviewing course offerings, monitoring enrollment, and making academic decisions.
When will training begin?
Training activities will begin closer to implementation next spring and will be tailored to different user groups. View the Project Timeline for an estimated training schedule.
