Drop-ins are allowed only in Level 1 classes.
Please note: mat class priority is given to students who are taking the academic Pilates apparatus class (DAN 102).
Makeup Policy: Students may makeup a missed class in another class at their level or below. Makeup
classes are expected to be completed by the end of the semester.
Apparatus Instruction
Private sessions and duet lessons offer an opportunity to work more closely with an instructor and to utilize all of Joseph Pilates' unique equipment. Apparatus lessons are designed specifically for each individual, based on their strengths, weaknesses, injury history, and fitness goals.
Apparatus lessons are 50 minutes and by appointment only. To schedule an apparatus
lesson, email pilates@goucher.edu.
Open Studio Program
Once students have completed enough lessons that they know their individualized workout and have their instructor's approval, they may enter the studio to workout on their own any time a ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ Pilates instructor is in the studio. Must have explicit approval from a ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ Pilates instructor. For more information about the Open Studio Program, email pilates@goucher.edu.
