Directions to the Library at the Athenaeum

  • Drive through the ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷gate, and continue through the gatehouse entry.
  • Turn left just after the gatehouse and park in the Rhoda M. Dorsey College Center (¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷or) parking area.
  • Walk up the steps into the Dorsey Center.
  • As you exit the Center's courtyard, keep to the right and follow the signs to the Athenaeum.

 

Accessibility

Passenger drop-off:

  • Enter through the ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷Gatehouse (#8 on map below).
  • Continue on the main road until you come to the Dorsey College Center building (#4 on map below). The main road divides at this point, with one fork going off to the right and another fork going a bit to the left. You want the fork that goes a bit to the left and up the hill towards the Alumnae/i House.
  • As you go up the hill, you will see several handicapped parking spaces on the left—on the opposite side of the road from that there is a gated (the gate is open) driveway leading to the Athenaeum. Turn right into the driveway and proceed to the entrance to the Athenaeum.
  • When you reach the accessible parking area at the Alumnae/i House make a right and follow the driveway up to the Athenaeum entrance, Forum level.

 Accessible Parking: There are two accessible parking spaces near the Forum level entrance.  More parking is available at the Alumnae/i House lot.

¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷or access

Only ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ students, faculty, staff,  and sponsored guests may be in the Athenaeum after 9 p.m. or before 9 a.m. All library users may be asked to present their ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ ID card during these times.

The general public may use the Library when resources are not in use by or reserved for members of the ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ community.
