¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷has announced the appointment of seven faculty members to tenure-track professor or professor of practice positions in a range of disciplines from across the college.

¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷will create the Collaborative Humanities Laboratory to enhance the study of visual, material, and historical culture using a $149,961 National Endowment for the Humanities (NEH) grant. ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ was one of only five institutions nationwide to receive a grant from the NEH's Humanities Initiatives at Colleges and Universities.

Through ongoing collaboration between the Smithsonian and the ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ Prison Education Partnership (GPEP), the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History has created a fund to support internships for alumnae/i and former students of GPEP. The internship offers former GPEP students the opportunity to leverage their educations, building valuable early career experience.

The grant supports engagement with students, teachers, and families to enhance academic accessibility due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
