¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷

The Burroughs Wellcome Fund (BWF), an organization aiming to serve and strengthen society by nurturing a diverse group of leaders in biomedical sciences to improve human health through education, has awarded ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷funds to collaborate with Stevenson University to further develop their long-standing Collaborative Teaching Fellows Program (CTFP) partnership with Johns Hopkins University and the University of Maryland.

The upcoming academic year brings fresh voices and added prestige to ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ College, as eleven new faculty members have joined the community. In addition, two faculty members started last January, and one has taken on a new role.

¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷is proud to announce a $1 million gift to the college from the Batza Family Foundation, which is founded by Patricia K. Batza ’91 and Michael J. Batza Jr. The leadership gift for the Science Innovation Center will support the construction and equipping of the new facility’s greenhouse, which will be named in the Batza family’s honor in recognition of their philanthropy.

Devereaux joined ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷ in July 2019. During the first four years of his tenure, Devereaux has simultaneously focused on strengthening and stewarding the college into the future while navigating the institution through the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. 

From July 28-30, ¶¶êŽÉñÆ÷'s M.A.A.A. Program will celebration 25 years with their event "Innovation in the Arts: The Future of Arts Administration."
